Bush, Glen (31 July 1895-30 June 1983)

NEILLSVILLE--Services for Glen Bush, 87, Route 1, Neillsville, who died early Thursday at Neillsville Memorial Hospital, will be Saturday at the Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville. The Rev. Howard Ott will officiate. Burial will be in the Neillsville Cemetery, with military rites by the Haugen-Richmond Post No. 73 of the American Legion.

Pallbearers will be Edward Henchen, Hilbert Naedler, Elroy Johnson, Joe Mazola, Ed Schoen and Tony Adamec.

He was born 31 July 1895 in Crestco, Iowa, to Mr. and Mrs. Orson (Alma Harvey) Bush, and received his education there. He farmed with his parents until moving to Jackson County, where he was employed by the Jackson County Highway Department for several years. He served with the U.S. Army from July 6, 1918 to December 17, 1918.

He married Regina Koboski December 31, 1927, in Winona, Minnesota. They moved to Marshfield, where he was employed by the Roddis Lumber Co. for many years. Later they purchased a farm in the Town of Levis. In 1961, they retired from farming and moved to Pine Valley, where they have lived since.

A baseball enthusiast all his life, Mr. Bush was a member of the Haugen-Richmond Post No.73 of the American Legion.
