Doehr Family (Reunion- 1980)
The descendants of Christopher and Othilda Doehr, originally of Fairchild,
gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Russel Lang and family, rural Marshfield,
on Sunday, November 2.
The couple had ten children; the only one able to attend was Mrs. Sabilla
Melcher, Milwaukee. Other living children unable to attend are Helmuth,
Kingsford, Michigan; Henry, Junction City; Alvin, Milwaukee; and Vera, Boise,
Idaho.
Three daughters-in-law in attendance were Mrs. Fred Doehr, Hayward, Mrs. Werner
Doehr, Neillsville; and Mrs. Henry Doehr, Junction City. Also attending was a
cousin, Mrs. Ray Hines, Marshfield.
A potluck dinner was served to 68, followed by the reading of the Doehr Heritage
by Mrs. Melcher and group singing.
The following people attended: Mrs. Mabel Doehr, Neillsville; Mrs. Letti Doehr,
Roger Doehr, Mrs. Verlin Doehr and DD., all of Hayward; Mr./Mrs. Everett Doehr,
Belleville, Mi.; Mr./Mrs. Kenneth Doehr and Debra, Wis. Rapids; Mrs. Denise
Mancl, Nekoosa; Mrs. Henry Doehr, Junction City; Mr./Mrs. Verlin Mann and
Mr./Mrs. Jim Mann, Michelle, Kurt & Stacy, Arpin; and Mrs. Judee Edwards, Jon,
Cary & Kent Weiler, Green Bay.
Joining them were Mr./Mrs. Herbert Seifert, Arnie, Shane, Jason & Rome, Osseo;
Mr./Mrs. Verdain Doehr, St. Paul, Mn.; Mrs. Sabilla Melcher and granddaughter
Gail, Milwaukee, and daughter Anita, San Jose, Ca.; Mr./Mrs/ Lucian Moh,
Granton; Mr./Mrs. Dale Bender, Debbie & Patty, Loyal; Sally Moh, Eau Claire;
Mitzie Moh, Appleton; Mr./Mrs. Don Metko, Troy & Ryan, Fremont; and Mr./Mrs.
Lyle Doehr, Spencer.
And coming from Marshfield were Mr./Mrs. Frank Vogel, Frankie, Paula, Patti,
Chris, Kim & Suellyn, Roxie Simmons, Mr./Mrs. John Wagner, Mr./Mrs. Ray Hines
and Mr. /Mrs. Russel Lang, Jayne, Amy, Rachel, Eddie and Bethany.
