Rasmussen, Helga (13 April 1888-2 July 1983)
OWEN- Mrs. Lars (Helga) Rasmussen, 95 , of Owen died Saturday at the Marshfield
Convalescent Center.
Services were today at the Maurina Funeral Home, Owen. The Rev. Margaret
Shephard officiated, and burial was in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, Town
of Longwood.
The former Helga Eide was born April 13, 1888, in the Town of Longwood, to Mr.
and Mrs. Gunder (Caroline) Eide. She married Lars "Lauritz" Rasmussen in 1916;
he died in 1956. After their marriage they lived in Montana for two years, then
moved to the Town of Longwood there they farmed until 1944, and then moved to
Owen. She was also predeceased by her parents and a brother.
The Maurina Funeral Home, Owen, was in charge of arrangements.
