Jantsch, Frances P. (2 April 1887-2 July 1983)

ABBOTSFORD - Mrs. Henry (Frances P.) Jantsch, 96, of Abbotsford died Saturday at the Continental Nursing Home in Abbotsford.

Services will be Wednesday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Abbotsford. The Rev. Emil B. Hodnik will officiate. Burial will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford.

The former Frances P. Kuzenski was born April 2, 1887 in the Town of Deer Creek, to Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Minnie Boenish) Kuzenski. She was married to Henry Jantsch June 5, 1912 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville. After their marriage, they farmed in the Town of Holton. Her husband died November 19, 1974 and she continued to operate the farm with her son until 1965. She then moved to Abbotsford.

Mrs. Jantsch was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, and its Altar Society, and a member of St. Louis Catholic Church Rosary-Altar Society, Dorchester. She was also a charter member of the Bruckerville Homemakers Club of Dorchester.

Survivors include two sons, Leonard of Athens, and George of Abbotsford; two grandsons; and a sister, Mrs. Agnes K Hardin of Dubuque, Iowa.

She was also predeceased by a son, Louis, on November 28, 1968.
