Langreck, Leona (12 March 1930-2 July 1983)

NEILLSVILLE- Mrs. Delbert C. (Leona) Langreck, 53, 1114 Grand Ave., Neillsville, died Saturday at Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness.

Services were today at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Neillsville, with the Rev. Joseph N. Henseler officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Mrs. Glen Short, organist< accompanied St. Mary's Choir.

Pallbearers were Charles, Richard and Thomas Wegner, Louis Kessler, Kenneth Short and Kenneth Kuhn. The Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, handled arrangements.

The former Leona Wasserburger was born March 12, 1930 in Neillsville to Mr. and Mrs. Henry C. (Martha Dux) Wasserburger. She received her education in Neillsville High School in 1947. She was employed for 10 years at the Neillsville Bank, and at the time of her death was employed by Badger State Telephone Co.

She married Delbert Langreck November 12, 1952 in Neillsville. He survives.

Mrs. Langreck was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and the Parish Council of Catholic Women. She had her husband were members of several dance clubs in the area.

Also surviving are two daughters, Berry Langreck of Medford, and Betty Jo Langreck of Eau Claire; two sons, Bernard of Mercer, and Bruce of Appleton; two sisters, Mrs. Cark (Bernita) Wegner of Neillsville, and Mrs. William (Marian) Boller of Wausau; and one grandson.

She was predeceased by her parents.
