Hamm, Leonard (19 Jul 1935 – 25 Jul 1977)
Leonard (Buzz) Hamm, 42, of Hubertus, died Monday evening in his home of an
apparent heart attack.
Church services were held in Milwaukee at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 28. The body
was cremated and committal services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Riverside
Cemetery near Withee.
Mr. Hamm was born July 19, 1935 in the Town of Holton in Taylor County to
Leonard and Albe Hamm. He married the former Jean Witt of Curtiss. He was a
graduate of Owen High School and graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Eau
Claire. He served for four years in the U.S. Air Force in Denver, Colorado, and
has lived in the Milwaukee area since.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Abel Hamm, Owen, his widow; one sons, John,
and one daughter, Julie, both at home; two sisters, Mrs. Earl (Nancy) Sailer,
Wisconsin Rapids, and Mrs. Ray (Pat) Henderson, Eau Claire.
