Schallock, Clarence F. (21 Oct. 1910 - 24 Oct. 1978)
Fenwood - Clarence F. Schallock, 68, Route 3, Fenwood, died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been admitted Oct. 17.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, the Rev. Donald L. Gauerke, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sauter/Kundinger Funeral Home, Stratford, and at 11 a.m. Friday at the church.
Mr. Schallock was born Oct. 21, 1910 in the town of Eau Pleine, son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Schallock. He was educated in March Rapids and McMillan schools.
He was employed by Roddis Plywood Corp., now Weyerhaeuser Co., until moving in 1934 to Menominee, Mich., and Escanaba, Mich. He was employed by Northland Greyhound as a bus operator for 27 years. He retired in 1968, moving to Fenwood in 1971.
On June 24, 1932 in Webster, S.D., he married Laura Below. She survives.
He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Milton Peterson of Rochester, Minn.; one son, Russell of Mundelein, Ill.; two brothers--Rhinold Schallock of Marshfield and Elroy Schallock of Loves Park, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Edward (Hazel) Carl of Route 1, Stratford, and five grandchildren.
His parents and a brother preceded him.
