Foth, Frederick A. (11 June 1891 - 20 Oct. 1963)

Frederick A. Foth, 72, of 704 S. Felker Ave., died following a stroke at his home Sunday afternoon.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hansen Chapel. The Rev. Daniel Ahrens, pastor of the Immanuel Lutheran Church will officiate, and burial will be made in Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning this evening.

Frederick A. Foth was born June 11, 1891, in the town of Brighton, where he received his education. His marriage to Martha Below took place Nov. 15, 1916. He farmed east of Spencer until 1946, and then moved to Mosinee, where he resided for several years. He was then employed at the Wood County Hospital for 10 years. His second marriage to Mary Hupe took place April 3, 1956. Since then, the couple has made their home at their present address.

Mr. Foth is survived by his wife; three sons, Orville, Morton Grove, Ill.; Alfred, route 2, Marshfield; and Norman, route 3, Wausau; two brothers, Charles, Mosinee; and Rudolph, Port Edwards; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Alexander, Rhinelander; and Mrs. William (Alvina) Luepke, Spencer; and six grandsons.

He was preceded in death by a brother.
