Luepke, Richard R. (17 Mar. 1942 - 29 Apr. 2007)
Richard R. Luepke, age 65, of Marshfield, died Sunday, April 29, 2007, at the Marshfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Care Center, with his family by his side.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2007, at the Hansen Funeral Home. Friends may call from 1:30 p.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
Hansen Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Luepke was born March 17, 1942, in the town of Brighton, the son of Emil and Norma (Andre) Luepke. Richard graduated from Spencer High School and later DeVry Technical Institution. He used his degree to gain employment at Mittens Retail Appliance store in Marshfield where he worked until ill health forced him to retire in December 2006.
Richard R. Luepke was united in marriage to the former Carole Marten on April 4, 1964, in Spencer. They later divorced but remained friends.
In addition to being survived by his parents, Emil and Norma Luepke of Marshfield, and his former wife, Carole Luepke of Marshfield, Richard also is survived by his three brothers, Frank (Carol) Luepke of Sheldon, Iowa, David (Doreen) Luepke of Edgar, Phillip (Julie) Luepke of Stoddard; and his only sister, Cora (Tom) Wright of Concord, Calif.; also, an uncle, Robert (Doris) Andre of Neenah; and an aunt, Eleanore Luepke, of Spencer. Numerous cousins, relatives and friends survive Richard. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are encouraged to do so to the Marshfield Zoological Society.
The family would like to acknowledge the staff of the Marshfield Care Center and the staff of Saint Joseph's 8 North for the loving care and attention given to Richard.
