Oelrich, Virjean (12 Aug. 1923 - 23 Nov. 1966)
SPENCER - Mrs. Ted Oelrich, 43, route 1, Spencer, died early this morning in St. Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield following an illness of nine months.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer with the Rev. David Pankow officiating. Burial will be made in the church cemetery.
The body will repose at the Jasperson Funeral Home in Spencer from noon Thursday until noon Friday, and then at the church.
The former Virjean Zopfi, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Zopfi, was born Aug. 12, 1923 in the town of McMillan, Marathon County, and received her education there. Her marriage to Ted Oelrich took place July 25, 1942, at Louisville, Ky.
After their marriage, the couple made their home and farmed at route 1, Spencer.
Mrs. Oelrich was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid Society.
In addition to her husband, survivors are three daughters, Sandra, Marjorie and Beverly, a son, Robert, all at home, and four brothers, the Rev. Kermit Zopfi, Stratford; Howard Zopfi, Arpin; and Ralph Zopfi, Marshfield; and Randall Budahn, Stratford.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, her parents and a sister.
