Kuyoth, Peter Z. (21 Feb. 1911 - 25 Mar. 2008)

EDGAR -- Peter Z. Kuyoth, 97, Edgar, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at the House of Dove, Hospice Unit in Marshfield.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, town of Cassel. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon, is in charge of arrangements.

He was born Feb. 21, 1911, in the town of Cassel, son of Susan (Darnowski) and Joseph Kuyoth. On Oct. 11, 1937, he married Helen Krause at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She preceded him in death Jan. 3, 2004. Peter started his career with little money and resources by hauling logs and gravel in the Depression era. Following this he saw an opportunity and developed a very successful heavy construction business.

Survivors include two daughters, Alice Brien, Aspen, Colo., and Sharon (Michael) Moore, Racine; eight grandchildren; one brother, Paul (Jane) Kuyoth, Texas; and three sisters, Julie Zapletal, California, Regina Papstein, New Jersey, and Pauline (George) Lott, Florida.
