Kaiser, Agnes I. (6 Oct. 1908 - 2 June 2008)

Agnes I. Kaiser, 99, of Marshfield and formerly of Stratford, died on Monday, June 2, 2008, at the Gold Horizons CBRF under the care of Ministry Home Care Services.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with Rev. Don Meuret officiating. Suzanne Golden will be the organist along with Michael Gonering as the vocalist. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in the town of Eau Pleine, Marathon County. Mitchele Maguire, Kevin and Jeff Kaiser, Tom Worzella, Shawn Arch, Adam Hinker and Corey Machtan will be the pallbearers.

Visitations will be from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Agnes was born on Oct. 6, 1908, in the town of Day, Marathon County, to Joseph and Julia (Beyel) Hennes. She attended St. Andrew's Parochial School in Rozellville.

She was united in marriage to Myron Kaiser on Oct. 30, 1928, at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Rozellville. They had celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1978 and 55th in 1983. Myron died on May 6, 1984.

They farmed in Stratford and after the death of her husband, Myron, Agnes moved to Marshfield. She is survived by eight children, Donald (Pat) Kaiser of Marshfield, Irene "Rena" Maguire of Halder, Lester (JoAnn) Kaiser of Hewitt, Agnes Ann (Harry) Burnham of New Hampshire, Veronica (Ron) Waskowiak of Marshfield, Corrine (Fran) Hinker of Marshfield, Marietta "Mazie" (Ross) Machtan of Marshfield and Valeria (Frank) Arch of Greenwood; 45 grandchildren, 105 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by one brother, Wilfred (Gayle) Hennes of Unity; two sisters, Junilla (Andy) Geiger of Florida and Alvera (Bill) Kann of Wisconsin Rapids; two brothers-in-law, Arnold Steines of Marshfield and Vern Cummings of Marshfield; and two sisters-in-law, Loretta Hennes of Marshfield and Helen Hennes of California.

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents; husband Myron; daughter, Genarose Worzella; five brothers and six sisters.
