Babcock, Marion Elaine (25 July 1934 - 4 June 2008)

Marion Elaine Babcock was born July 25, 1934, in Wausau to the late William H. and Esther (Sodke) Stubbe. She has now gone to live with the Lord on the fourth day of June, 2008.

She married Thomas V. Babcock on May 24, 1952, in Mosinee. Their marriage was blessed with seven children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Vernon Babcock; a daughter, Darleen Babcock; and a brother, William H. Stubbe. She is survived by her children, Linda Morgan, Cocoa, Fla., Jacob Babcock, Hills, Iowa, Thomas R. Babcock, Olds, Iowa, Sharon M. Hole, Washington, Iowa, Patricia D. Crowe, Seymour, Mo., and Larry A. Babcock, Anamosa, Iowa; and brother, Robert L. Stubbe. Mrs. Babcock was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She has numerous nieces and nephews that she adored. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she has touched. Marion also loved to shop for bargains, and go to flea markets and garage sales. She also enjoyed growing and caring for various houseplants.
