Schweger, Alma (25 Apr. 1886 - 10 Aug. 1963)

Funeral services were conducted this afternoon in the Schmidt Funeral Home at Wittenberg for Mrs. Alma Schweger, 77, a lifetime resident who died Saturday morning in a Green Bay hospital. She had been hospitalized a month, following a year’s illness. Services were conducted by the Rev. James Carrico, of St. Paul’s Methodist Church, Green Bay, and burial was in Forest Home Cemetery at Wittenberg. Pallbearers were George E. and George C. Smith, Eddie Matz, William Frank, Mervil Kaufman and Werner Wolfinger.

Mrs. Schweger, the former Alma Schanen, was born April 25, 1886, in Eland. The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Schanen, she married Andrew B. Schweger in March, 1912. They lived their entire married life in Eland. He died in July 1961.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Milan Sousek, Hortonville; a son, Earl, Green Bay, and four grandchildren.
