SPENCER - Gladys Margaret Louise Ringquist, 83, Spencer, died at 9:10 p.m. Dec. 13, 1994, at St. Joseph’s Hospital Hospice Care Unit.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Community Funeral Home with the Rev. Brian Jaye of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating.
Burial will be in the town of Brighton cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rick Potter, Rick Golden, Jim Ringquist, Glen Powers, Scott Ringquist and Chris Weis.
Visitation will be from 4-8 tonight at the funeral home.
Gladys was born Jan. 14, 1911, in Unity, to Anton and Frieda (Voth) Korntved. She was married to Earl Alvin Ringquist on Oct. 2, 1928, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity. He died Nov. 23, 1964. They farmed in the town of Brighton from 1928 - 1971 when she was moved to Spencer. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, I.C.W., and the Brighton Homemakers for 30 years.
Gladys is survived by four daughters, Betty (Raymond) Potter of Wisconsin Rapids, Elaine Golden of Milwaukee, Garnell (Harland) Powers of Oshkosh and Yvonne (Ronald) Weis of South Beloit, Ill.; two sons, Alvin (Mary) Ringquist of Marshfield and Ray (Marion) Ringquist of Grand Rapids, Mich.; one sister, Merle Breuer of Brookfield; 22 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, one brother, one sister and three great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her name to Trinity Lutheran Church of Unity or St. Joseph’s Hospital Hospice Care Unit.
