Larry C. Schwantes, 63, 4311 Schofield Ave., Schofield, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital.

Larry was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Clara ( Smazal) Schwantes, Schofield; three sons, Virgil Schwantes, Darrell (Barb) Schwantes, and Todd (Amy) Schwantes, all of Wausau; two daughters, Wendy (Brian) Socha, Athens, and Vicki (Jim) Weber, Wausau; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Ronald (Sharon) Schwantes, Eldon, Mo., and one sister, Wanda Collins, Augusta, Ga.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Peterson Funeral Home, Wausau. Burial will be in the West Spencer Cemetery.
