Laumer, Albert Ervin (8 Jan. 1919 - 9 Sept. 1994)
SCHOFIELD - Albert Ervin Laumer, 75, Marathon, died at 1:40 a.m. Sept. 9, 1994, at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Schofield.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Marathon.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Kraemer Funeral Home, Wausau, and again at 9:30 a.m. at the church until service time. Burial will be at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Cemetery.
He was born on Jan. 8, 1919 in Rib Falls. He married Isabella Burk on Jan. 9, 1941, at St. Matthew’s Church.
He was a section crew foreman for 30 years with the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad until his retirement in 1979.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Karen (Donald) Zunker of Wausau, Marlene Hornung of Marathon and Loretta (Don) Kroening of Stratford; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Elsie (Roy) Schulz, Marathon; and one brother, Gustav (Gertrude) Laumer, Onalaska.
