Boland, Terrance (30 Oct. 1955 - 9 Mar. 2009)

LOVES PARK, Ill. -- Terrance "Tooltime" Boland, 53, of Loves Park passed away March 9, 2009, in his residence.

He was born Oct. 30, 1955, in Stratford, the son of Bernard and Lucille (Greenberg) Boland. Terrance moved to Belvidere in 1972 and graduated from Belvidere High School in 1974. He was employed with Penske Truck Leasing for 17 years and was a founding member of Kishwaukee Valley ABATE.

He enjoyed spending time on the family property in Stratford, restoring antique Farmall tractors and riding his Harley-Davidson.

Survivors include son, Michael Boland; daughter, Trinisha Boland; and brother, James (Jean) Boland. He was predeceased by his parents.

A celebration of life will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2009, at The Image, 5524 Auburn St., Rockford, Ill.
