Suicide in Mosinee

Wausau Herald--Wm Peck, a respected old gentleman who until recently had been living with his daughter, Mrs. Wm. Blair, of Mosinee, committed suicide yesterday morning by taking between one and two ounces of aconite. Family troubles are said to have been the cause of the rash act. Mr. Peck was 78 years of age and had been watchman at the Dessert railroad roundhouse for some time. It was at the roundhouse he took the aconite and when it began to work on him he told some men who came in what he had done. Peck was a native of New York but had been a resident of Mosinee several years. The body was taken to New Lisbon for internment.
