Freese, Milda Adeline (17 Dec. 1918 - 10 Mar. 1993)
MARATHON - Milda Adeline Freese, 74, Marathon, died at 12:35 a.m. Wednesday at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Wausau.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Marathon, with the Rev. Paul Schleis officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be at Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon, from 4-8 p.m. today and then at the church from 1 p.m. until service time Friday. A Scripture service will be at 7:30 tonight at the funeral home.
She was born Dec. 17, 1918, in Wausau, to the late Henry and Theresa (Hanke) Gresen. She was married to Harlan Freese Oct. 2, 1948, in Marathon City.
She was a member of St. Matthew’s Ladies Aid, Marathon.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Beverly) Heinze of Woodruff and Mrs. Henry (Paulette) Radtke of Wausau; one brother, Herbert Gresen of Wausau; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by one sister, Dora Brandle.
