Denzin, Paul (7 July 1881 - 18 Feb. 1943)
Funeral services for Paul Denzin, 61, town of Holton, who died Thursday morning at 12:15 o’clock at Mt. View sanitorium, Wausau, where he had been a patient nearly eight years, were held Monday afternoon at the Fuchsgruber funeral home in Dorchester and at 2:00 o’clock at Bethlehem Lutheran church in Milan. Burial was made in the Milan cemetery. The Rev. O. Hattstaedt of Wausau officiated at the rites.
Mr. Denzin was born July 7, 1881, in the town of Holton, and was married to Theresa Vircks of Stetsonville, who preceded him in death 16 years ago.
Mr. Denzin is survived by nine children, Ed, Medford; Clarence, Milwaukee; Pvt. Harold, Alaska; Hilda, Michigan; Lucille, Chicago; Mrs. Walter (Esther) Remus, Mrs. George (Leona) Ellenbecker, and Anna, all of Edgar; and Mrs. Donald (Ruth) Sauter, Dorchester. One son, Albert, preceded him in death.
The pallbearers at the funeral services were Alvin, Herman, Ray, William, Lawrence and Elton Denzin.
Among relatives from away were Miss Hilda Denzin, St. Joseph, Mich., Miss Lucille Denzin, Chicago; Clarence Denzin, Racine; Herman Denzin, Wukwonago; Mrs. Anna Daley and Joe Lamar, Tomahawk.
