Ridderbusch, Joyce (Marriage - 20 Feb. 1943)

Miss Joyce Ridderbusch, of Wausau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred A. Ridderbusch, Town of Holton, and Pvt. Ralph M. Cessna, of Camp McCoy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde E. Cessna, of Brookfield, Ohio, were united in a simple marriage ceremony, Saturday evening. Dr. E. C. Grauer read the service in the parsonage of St. Paul’s Evangelical church, Wausau.

The bride was attired in a two-piece rose wool dress, trimmed with black velvet. She wore black accessories and a corsage of gardenias.

Mrs. Walter Hopperdietzel, Wausau, remembered here as Alice Kramer, and Pvt. Anthony Rugols, Camp McCoy, attended the couple.

Mrs. Hopperdietzel and the bride’s mother wore dark street dresses and shoulder bouquets of yellow daffodils.

A wedding dinner was served at Whitie’s. The center piece on the table was the wedding cake which was given to the bride by her aunt, Mrs. Malcolm Larson.

Guests included: the bride’s parents, and their sons, Dale, Roy and Neal; Miss Theresa Miller, Miss Marion Farsund and Mrs. Walter Hopperdietzel, Wausau, and Pvt. Walter Pierce, Corp. Lawrence Eibert and Pvt. Rugols, Camp McCoy.

The bride is a graduate of the Abbotsford high school, class of 1940. She will remain in Wausau where she is employed.
