Frederick G. Penno, 89, Athens, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at North Central Health Care, Wausau.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Athens. The Rev. Andrew Alberts will preside. Burial will be in Athens Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.

Frederick G. Penno, 89, Wausau, formerly of Athens, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at North Central Health Care, Wausau.

Survivors include his sister, Dorothy (Ferd) Mais, Wausau; two brothers, Carl Penno, Edgar, and Lawrence Penno, Wausau, and one niece and three nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Athens. Burial will be in Athens Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services Monday all at the church.
