N. L. Adams of Abbotsford, was in our village on business Mnday.
Mr. and Mrs. Gail Gadson visited with relatives at Marshfield Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wogernese and son were Marshfield callers Saturday.
F. W. Bobbe and family spent New Years day with relatives at Birnamwood.
Miss Frances E. Schillinger left for Milwaukee Friday where she will visit friends. Mrs. Chas. Schmidt and son Galen and Miss Margaret Groh were Wausau callers Saturday.
Mr. De Pond, who called on Mr. and Mrs. V. Schillinger, left for Oklahoma City Monday.
The Milan Community Club will meet with Mrs. Frank Haderlein Thursday, January 8th.
Alvin Younker, who has spent the holidays with his mother, returned to Milwaukee, Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Emil Schade spent Sunday with Bernard Schade and family in the town of Holton.
The quarterly meeting of the members of the Lutheran Congregation will be held Sunday, Jan. 19th.
Miss Mildred Vanderhoof and George Klesser of Colby, were guests at the John Haderlein home Sunday.
George Groh Jr., who spent the past week with his parents, left Saturday for Milwaukee where he is (the rest of the print appears to not have been published).
Chas. Schmidt and sons Galen and Vernon visited with the former’s father G. F. Schmidt at Dorchester Saturday evening.
Herman Marquardt and family of Curtiss, and Mr. and Mrs. M. Ellingson spent New Year’s day at the John Zell home.
Mr. and Mrs. John Zell and daughter of the town of Johnson, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Zell Sunday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hannemann spent Sunday with the former’s brother, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hannemann, at Edgar.
Mr. and Mrs. Harlo Roder and Mrs. Emma Roder of the town of Johnson spent Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kattre.
Alvin Younker of Milwaukee and brother of the town of Holton, visited with Galen and Vernon Schmidt over the week end.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wogernese, Mrs. Robert Prentice and Mrs. Emma Roder called at the Henry Rau home at Dorchester, Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. John Schrieber and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Krause visited with Anton Schemenauer Jr., at the Marshfield hospital Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kattre, Mr. and Mrs. John Zorak, Mr. and Mrs. Harlo Roder and Mrs. Emma Roder were entertained at the George Bushman home New Years day.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Tyrell spent Sunday with relatives at Wittenberg. Miss Ellen Groh, who spent the holidays with her parents, returned with them to resume her teaching there.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Heckman entertained the following guests at a six o’clock dinner, Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Helmuth Dueysen of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Ellington and Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Blank of Milan.
