Ruth M. Tessmer, 79, Wausau, died Saturday, October 24, 2009 under the care of
Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Wausau Manor Nursing Home.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. Robert Thorn will preside. Entombment will be in the Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until time of services at the church.
Peterson-Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau is assisting the family with arrangements.

Ruth M. Tessmer, 79, Wausau, died Saturday, October 24, 2009 under the care of
Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Wausau Manor Nursing Home.
She was born November 10, 1929 in Marathon, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Wolf) Baumann.
On September 6, 1965, she married Harold Tessmer at St. Mary Catholic Church,
Marathon. He survives.
Ruth worked for Marathon State Bank for many years until her retirement. Among her
many interests, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, gardening and cooking.
Survivors include, her husband, Harold Tessmer, Wausau; one sister-in-law, Phyllis
Henneman, town of Hamburg; one brother-in-law, Dale (Cathy) Tessmer, Madison; and nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Claude Baumann.
