Vesley, George Mrs. (? – 23 June 1934)
Mrs. George Vesley died at her home on Saturday morning at 2:30 o’clock. Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday morning at 8:30 o’clock, and at St. John the Baptist church at Wuertzburg at 9:00 o’clock, the Rev. Urban Baer officiating. Mrs. Vesley was one of the pioneer residents of the town of Johnson, having lived here for the past thirty years. She was a kind Christian woman who was loved and honored by the whole community.
She is survived by her husband, two daughters, six sons, and 21 grandchildren. The sons and daughters are Rudolph, Anthony, Joe and Alois at home, Albert and Ed of Chicago, Mrs. Alex Ellenbecker of the town of Johnson, and Mrs. Werner Schaefer of the town of Holton. The sons acted as pallbearers. Guests from away were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Vesley and two sons, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Vesley and son, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Ligler and daughter Ruth and grandchild, Patricia, Mrs. Frank Hanna, Cicero; and Mrs. C. Nelson and son Earl, Green Bay.
