Kobs, Edna (Marriage - 18 Oct. 1936)
The 37th anniversary of the wedding of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Kobs, Spencer, was chosen by Miss Edna Kobs as the date for her marriage to Norman Haslow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Haslow, also of Spencer.
Only immediate relatives attended the high noon ceremony which was performed Sunday in the parsonage of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church by the Rev. A. C. Stapel.
Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Schwocho.
The bride's dress of rust colored crepe was trimmed with gold material and she wore brown accessories. Sweetheart roses were combined in her shoulder corsage.
Mrs. Schwocho wore a brown crepe frock with gold trim and brown accessories. Her corsage was similar to the bride's.
A reception and dinner were held at the home of the bride's parents after the ceremony. Miss LaVerne Kobs, Milwaukee, was an out of town guest.
Mr. and Mrs. Haslow left that evening on a week's wedding trip to a lake near Tomahawk, *** Note: The rest of the article was missing. The date of marriage is from the church records of Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer, Marathon County, Wis.
