Natzke, Arline H. (February 17, 1919 - January 19, 2010) 

 

Arline H. Natzke, 90, of Abbotsford, formerly of Milan, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Inn Care of Abbotsford. 

 

Arline was born February 17, 1919, the daughter of Clarence and Ruth (Struensee) Rhyner of Oshkosh. 

 

She graduated from Oshkosh High School. 

 

On August 17, 1948, Arline married Edward Natzke at Martin Luther Church in Neenah.

 

She worked as a homemaker while she and her husband farmed in the Neenah area. They moved to Milan in 1978and her husband died in December of that year. 

 

Arline was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and its ladies Aid. She worked at the Bethesda Thrift Shop and enjoyed reading her daily devotions and Portals of Prayer. 

 

She was an avid bird watcher and assisted in taking bird counts throughout her life. 

 

Arline is survived by sons, Duane (Kaye) Natzke of Athens, and Ronald Natzke of Manawa; and two grandchildren. 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. 

 

Her family is accepting memorials in Arline’s name to either The Bethlehem Lutheran Church Building Fund or to the Bethesda Lutheran Home.

 

Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Milan. The Rev. Jeffery Lambrecht will preside. Visitation will be at the church in Milan on Sunday from 1 p.m. until time of services. Committal services for Arline will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 25, 2010 at Brooks Cemetery in the Town of Vinland in Winnebago County.

 

Arrangements are entrusted to the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home of Abbotsford.
