Payne, John Barton (1927? - March 30, 2010)
John Barton Payne, age 69, of Athens, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 in the Palliative Care Unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital with his family by his side.
John is survived by his wife Barbara (Smith), Athens; sons John (Jenise) Payne,
Athens, and Russell (Marcy) Payne, Stetsonville.
He is further survived by his grandchildren Jonathon, Jacob, Jesse, Sammy, and Megan; his brother Charles Payne, Elkhorn, and many other family and friends.
Private family services will be held. The Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home,
Marshfield is assisting the family with arrangements.
