CHARLES W. HARGER, cashier of Marathon County Bank, Wausau, was born at Stone Mills, Jefferson Co., N.Y., Sept. 11, 1842, and came to Wausau from Watertown, Jefferson Co., Wis. He was married in Wausau, Wis., November, 1877, to Kate Schofield, who was born in the town of Weston, Marathon Co., Wis. They have one child, Anna Gertrude. Mr. Harger enlisted in Co. B, 29th Wis. V.I., and served about one year during the late war of the Rebellion.
