Bahr, Fredric Albert (May 14, 1945 - March 3, 2010)
Fredric “Fred” Albert Bahr, 64, of Issaquah, WA died Wednesday, Mary 3, 2010.
Fred was born May 14, 1945, in Athens, the son of Edmond and Janet Bahr. He grew up on a farm and went to Parks Air College of St. Louis University, graduating in 1968.
He married Jamie Schlosser in 1971. Fred served in the US Army as an air traffic controller and then for Fowler Aeronautics and Rocky Mountain Airways. He flew for United Airlines, becoming a 747 captain, retiring in 2005.
Fred is survived by his wife; four daughters, Nicole, Vanessa, Bria and Emily; a brother, Dennis Bahr; a sister, Beverly Paul; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service was held March 9 at the Pine Lake Covenant Church in Sammamish, WA.
