Brodziski, Frank (Oct. 1930 – 20 Nov. 2008)
Frank Brodziski, 78, Athens, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice at his home.
Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving from 1952 to 1956. Following his military service, Frank worked at Marathon Electric, Wausau, for two years, and then farmed on the family farm until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Mary (Sazama) Brodziski, Athens; seven children, Tom Brodziski, Mondovi, Hugh Brodziski, and Lori (Richard) Daul, both of Athens, Mark (Sandra) Brodziski, Stevens Point, Kevin (Debra) Brodziski, Antigo, Paul (Sheila) Brodziski, Stillwater, Minn., and Ann Brodziski, Wausau; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Marian (Perry) Larson, Schofield; four brothers, Edward (Grace) Brodjeski, Ukiah, Calif., Anthony (Ruth) Brodjeski, Kenosha, Michael Brodjeski, Solon Springs, Wis., and Steven (Gloria) Brodziski, Athens; two sisters-in-law, Elaine Brodjeski, Wausau, and Darlene Brodjeski, Kenosha; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, with full military honors conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Andrew J. Sutter Post No. 8527, Athens.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar, and again from 10 a.m. until time of services Monday at the church. There will be a prayer service at 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski, or the ALS Association.
