Freemund, Elenora (Marriage – 23 Oct. 1935)
Miss Elenora Freemund, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Freemund of Stratford and Stanley Konkel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Konkel, Town of Johnson, were married at the Catholic parsonage at Wurtzberg at 9 o’clock Wednesday morning, Oct. 23. The Rev. Urban Baer officiated.
The attendants were Miss Artemus Freemund, sister of the bride, maid of honor; Miss Dorothy Brunner of Edgar, and Miss Rose Kamus, Arpin, were bridesmaids. The bride wore white satin and veil and carried a bouquet of white carnations. Miss Freemund wore peach satin, Miss Brunner wore pink silk and Miss Kamus was dressed in green satin.
John Konkel, brother of the groom, acted as best man, and Darrell Freemund and Frank Konkel also attended.
A reception was held after the ceremony at the home of the bride, and a dance was given at Jerkwater in the evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Konkel will live on a farm in the Town of Johnson.
