Radlinger, Mr./Mrs. Martin (50th Anniv. – 23 Nov. 1936)

On Monday, Nov. 23, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Radlinger celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Services, fitting for this occasion, were conducted at the Catholic church at Wuertzberg by the Rev. Fr. Anthony Muehlenkamp, of Athens, at 9 o’clock. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Reis.

A reception was held at their home following the ceremony. Dinner and supper were served to their many guests.

Catherine Kochen and Martin Radlinger were united in marriage at the Catholic church at Manitowoc, on Nov. 22, 1886. Forty-one years ago they came to Wuertzberg and settled on their present farm, which was at that time a wilderness. Both Mr. and Mrs. Radlinger are faithful members of the Catholic church. They are charter members of St. John the Baptist church at Wuertzberg.

Their seven children, grand children and great-grand children were all present for the occasion. The children are: Mrs. Anton Schemenauer, Mrs. John Schrieber and Mrs. John Krupka, Athens, Joseph Radlinger of Manitowoc, Mrs. Wm. Klein, Milwaukee, Frank and Margaret, at home. One child died in infancy and one daughter, Anna, died at the age of nineteen years. There are sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Mrs. Radlinger has one sister and four brothers living. She is 76 years of age and Mr. Radlinger is 74. They have a host of friends who extend congratulations.
