JOHN P. LEHMAN, general merchandise and Postmaster, Marathon City. Was born in Westphalia, Clinton Co., Mich., Jan. 23, 1852. First settled in Milwaukee, Wis., in the Fall of 1872, where he lived three and one-half years, and finished learning the tinner trade. He then went to Barton, Washington Co., and began the hardware and tinner business, where he remained until the Spring of 1878. Then he went to Marathon City, and embarked in general merchandise. He was married, in Fond du Lac, Oct. 21, 1875, to Maggie Servatius, who was born in Fond du Lac. They have three children — Minnie, Nora and Tille.
