----Schelb, Marrian (Marriage - 11 Jan. 1941)

Immanuel Lutheran Church at March Rapids was the scene of the wedding at 10 o'clock Saturday morning of Miss Marrian Schelb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Schelb of Stratford, and Wayne Rogers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rogers, W. Fourth Street. The Rev. J. Carl Bast officiated.

A light pink formal gown with white and blue velvet ribbon trim and a shoulder veil combining blue and pink were the bride's choice for the ceremony. She carried a bridal bouquet. Miss Gladys Haffener, maid of honor, wore blue and a shoulder corsage, while the little flower girl, Rosalie Schelb, sister of the bride, wore a blue dress and a large white hair ribbon.

Lawrence Barthel attended as best man at the services, during which appropriate music was furnished by Mrs. Bast.

Relatives and friends gathered at the home of the bride's parents after the church ceremony, and dinner and supper were served. The dining room of the house was decorated in pink and blue streamers, with a good luck horseshoe included in the decorations. The couple will reside at 312 W. Fourth Street. Mrs. Rogers is employed by the Roddis Company.

Out of town guests attending the ceremony were Mr. and Mrs. Haffener and family, Fenwood and Mr. and Mrs. William Bauman, Edgar.
