Keyes, Delores Mary (Marriage – 21 Aug. 1939)

The two communities of Spencer and Unity are equally delighted at the union of two of their most loved and respected young people, which took place at Christ the King church Sacristy in Spencer, Monday, August 21, 1939, at 10 A.M., when Miss Delores Mary Keyes, of Spencer, became the bride of Calvin E. Cook of Unity, Rev. Father Joseph Graff officiating.

The bride was accompanied by two bridesmaids, Miss Dorothy Keyes, sister of the bride, and Miss Shirley Cook, sister of the groom. Maurice Lee, Marshfield and Everett Capes, Unity, were the best men. The bride wore a costume suit of squirrel fur, with wine colored accessories and shoulder bouquet of white roses and sweet peas.

Miss Dorothy Keyes wore a wool dress of teal blue shade with wine accessories; and Miss cook was attired in a stone blue wool dress with *** Note: The rest of the clipping was missing.
