Bahr, Beatrice (Marriage – 11 Apr. 1942)
Bethlehem Lutheran church in Milan was the scene of a pretty wedding Saturday afternoon when Miss Beatrice Bahr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bahr, Town of Johnson, became the bride of Lloyd H. Aderhold, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Aderhold, Athens. The Rev. E. E. Malueg performed the ceremony.
Attendants of the bride, Miss Elva Venzke, Milan, and Miss Janet Venzke, Hollywood, Cal., were dressed alike in floor-length gowns of aqua-blue taffeta and wore shoulder bouquets of sweet peas and roses.
The bride, attired in a gown of white taffeta, with short, puffed sleeves and floor-length flared skirt, carried a shower bouquet of roses. Her tulle veil, finger tip length, was caught to a bandeau of flowers.
Edmund Bahr, brother of the bride, attended as best man and Klinka Hargraves served as groomsman.
The Bahr residence was decorated in blue and white for the reception held there later in the day. In the evening, the event was celebrated at a dance at the Trianon gardens.
The couple will reside with the bridegroom’s parents on their farm near Athens.
