Oehme, Arnold G. (26 Oct. 1942 – 13 Feb. 2009)

SPENCER -- Arnold G. Oehme, 67, of Spencer, died Friday, Feb. 13, 2009, in the emergency room at Saint Joseph's Hospital.

Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, Spencer, is assisting the family with arrangements.

SPENCER -- Arnold G. Oehme, 66, of Spencer, died Friday, Feb. 13, 2009, in the emergency room at Saint Joseph's Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, Spencer. Interment with military honors including participation of the Patriot Guard will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Veteran's Field of Honor at the Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, Spencer.

Mr. Oehme was born Oct. 26, 1942, in Milwaukee, the son of Guenther and Eleanore (Ortmann) Oehme.

Arnold was a career veteran, serving in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force. He was also a Vietnam Veteran.

In 1991, following his retirement from the Air Force, Mr. Oehme came to the Marshfield area where he was employed as an over-the-road driver for Roehl. He also operated the Marshfield Clinic Shuttle Bus for three years.

Arnold is survived by his sons, Kevin (Isabelle) Oehme, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Keith (Robin) Oehme, Vail, Ariz.; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sisters, Eileen M. Sirois, Glendale, Kathleen Ash, Sussex, and Richard (Ann) Oehme, Cedarburg.
