Dietsche, Delores (Marriage – 24 June 1942)
Miss Delores Dietsche, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Dietsche, Town of Johnson, and Leonard Frahm, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Frahm, Town of Bern, were united in marriage in St. Thomas’ Catholic church, Milan, Wednesday morning at 9:00 o’clock. The Rev. Raymond Schultz read the marriage service before the nuptial high mass.
Miss Helene Dietsche, sister of the bride, in a frock of lace net over pale blue, led the bridal procession. Following her was Miss Beatrice Dietsche, another sister, in a frock of pale blue silk rayon. Preceding the bride was Miss Dorothy Frahm, sister of the groom, as maid of honor, who wore a frock of pink silk rayon. The attendants wore head bands to match their dresses and carried bouquets of mixed flowers.
The bride, wearing a gown of white silk rayon and long, lace edged veil with a train held by a coronet of seed pearls, carrying a bouquet of mixed flowers, met her bridegroom at the altar railing.
Attending the groom as best man was Peter Dietsche, brother of the bride. Victor Decker and Henry Behr also attended the groom.
Following the ceremony a wedding dinner and supper were served at the home of the bride’s parents to 110 guests. Streamers of blue, pink and white and garden flowers decorated the home.
In the evening a wedding dance was held at the Trianon gardens.
Mr. and Mrs. Frahm are making their home on the farm with the groom’s parents. Before her marriage the bride was employed for the past year in the Milan post office.
