Lang, Alex A. (6 Apr. 1918 – 2 Mar. 2002)

MARATHON – Alex A. Lang, 83, of Marathon, died March 2, 2002 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Wellington Place, Wausau.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. Rev. Joseph Diermeier will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday, at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon, and from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service, Tuesday, at the church. There will be a parish rosary service 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Alex was born April 6, 1918 in Marathon, son of the late Henry Sr. and Helen (nee Sanders) Lang.

Survivors include one sister, Marie Karlen of Wausau; two brothers, Fred (Lillian) Lang and Henry Jr. (Adeline) Lang, all of Marathon; one brother-in-law, Roman Kurtzweil of Wausau and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Mary Church or St. Mary School, Marathon.
