Wooldridge, Robert E. (16 Aug. 1938 – 27 Feb. 2009)

JUNCTION CITY -- Robert E. Wooldridge, 70, Junction City, died unexpectedly Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2009, at Martens/Rembs Funeral Home, Junction City. Burial will take place in St. Michael's Cemetery, Junction City.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home Sunday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. until service time. A prayer service will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Wooldridge was born Aug. 16, 1938, in Mason City, Iowa, the son of Edward and Florence (Hamstreet) Wooldridge.

He married Linda Smetana and they later divorced. He then married Janet Moscinski Kitowski on Dec. 18, 1982, in Stevens Point.

Bob had served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He had worked as an over-the-road truck driver and as a fertilizer plant manager. He retired in 1985 due to health problems. Most recently he had served as caretaker.

He is survived by his wife, Janet; his son, Dustin Wooldridge of Chippewa Falls; and his step children, Dawn (Steve) Pacholik of West Chicago, Deanne (Tom) Kuenzi of Manitowoc, Kevan Kitowski of Junction City, Denise Lewis of Waynesville, N.C., Keith (Sharon) Kitowski of Indianapolis, Ind., Kris (Marilyn) Kitowski of Jeffersonville, Ind., Ken (Sherry) Varga of Stevens Point, and Kory (Jill) Kitowski of Stevens Point. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and a sister, Lois (Don) Olson of Worthington, Minn.
