Koerner, Walter W. (10 Feb 1893 – 22 Nov. 1943)
Wausau – Walter W. Koerner, 50, of Appleton, a Wisconsin Telephone company lineman who was injured Monday when he was struck by a falling pole, died Monday in a local hospital following an operation.
Koerner was a member of a crew placing a new pole on the Wausau-Abbotsford line near Marathon. The widow and one son survive.
