Tom Brenner of Wausau was a caller here Tuesday.

M. C. Ellingson transacted business at Shawano Monday. 

Adolph Kreie of Stetsonville was in our village Thursday. 

Joseph Hanke of New Holstein purchased the Arthur Miller farm this week. 

Attorney F. A. Jackson and A. F. Zillmer of Colby were callers in our village Monday. 

Mrs. Chas. Schultz of Abbotsford was the guest of Mrs. Chester Bunkelman Wednesday.

Henry Suennen of Athens visited at the home of his sister, Mrs. Chester Bunkelman Wednesday. 

N. I. Simmons and Thomas Brennen of Wausau were callers that the Kraft-Phenix Dairies Monday. 

Mrs. Nels Knutson and Mrs. Wm. Kissinger of Athens were the guests of Mrs. M. C. Ellingson during the week. 

Eldred Ellingson of Ironwood, Mich., spent the first days of the week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Ellingson. 

Mr. and Mrs. John Zell were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Pahan at Wurtzberg Sunday. 

Mrs. L. F. Zell, Mrs. Wm. Roder and Mrs. Ervin Kohl attended the leader school at the home of Mrs. Anton Stallman at Corinth, Monday. 

Rudolph Hanson, a contractor of Wittenberg and two of his assistants Ole Holverson and Ervin Hanson are now doing some carpenter work at the Kraft-Phenix plant. 

The Milan Community Club met with Mrs. Frank Haderlein Thursday afternoon. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Eleven members were present. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Gail Gadson. Lunch was served. 

Henry Hanneman and Otto Denzin were Wausau callers Monday.

Mrs. Margaret Romang spent the week end with her parents at Athens.

N. L. Adams of Abbotsford was a business caller in our village Monday. 

Miss Lucy Kulas of Abbotsford spent the week end with Miss Louise Haderlein.

Mrs. Steve Price spent Monday afternoon at the home of her brother, Alvin Foster at Colby.

R. Johanning and M. Schrieder of Plymouth called at the Kraft-Phenix plant Monday. 

Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Ellingson and granddaughter Adell were Wausau visitors Sunday. 

Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Hoeft visited with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Benzmann at Colby Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. George Calmes of Dorchester were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Schrieber Sunday. 

Mrs. M. C. Ellingson attended a birthday party at the George Schlegel home at Athens Wednesday.

Elmer Heckman and family of the town of Johnson visited with Mr. and Mrs. George Blank Sunday. 

Peter Behr and family spent Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Daeke in the town of Johnson. 

Fred Woempner and family of Dorchester, were the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Benzman Sunday. 

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Haderlein and daughter Geraldine visited at the L. F. Zell home in the town of Johnson Tuesday. 

The Misses Ella and Louise Haderlein, Lucy Kulas and Rudolph Haderlein visited at the Joel Vanderhoof home in Colby Sunday. 

Members of the Milan Community club and their husbands helped Mrs. Abe Strebe celebrate her birthday anniversary Monday evening, Jan. 8. Eight tables of Schafskopf were in play. Prizes were taken by Mrs. R. Miller and Mrs. H. Roder and Wm. Kattre and George Blank. Luncheon was served at midnight. 

Mr. and Mrs. Chester Bunkelman visited with the Henry Weller family at Unity the first part of the week. 

Conrad Kremsreiter sustained a broken leg as a result of a belt jumping from a tractor against his leg. 

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kalien of the town of Johnson, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Haderlein Sunday. 

Miss Teckla Waynard and Walter Lynn visited at the Albert Bischoff hone in the town of Holton Sunday. 

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Schmidt visited at the home of Mr. Schmidt’s father G. F. Schmidt at Dorchester Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Fletcher and daughter spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Soteber at Stevens Point. 

Peter Baer and family were guests at the home of the former’s son, Ben Behr in the town of Johnson, Sunday. 

F. W. Bobbe and family drove to Amherst Sunday to visit with Mr. Bobbe’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Bobbe. 

Mr. and Mrs. August Loeffler and Mr. and Mrs. Anton Poehm of Wurtzberg were guests at the L. F. Zell home Sunday.
