Dorchester is in the war zone. Because he joined the militia
company at Marshfield, Michael Miller, a Dorchester fruit dealer was assaulted
by Richard Schreiber, a Dorchester butcher.
Schreiber was arrested for
assault and bound over to the circuit court at Neillsville. He was also sued for
$10,000 damages in a civil action by Miller.
