Stephen J.
Tepolt (27 Nov 1884 - 1955?)
Stephen J. Tepolt, 72, 300 E. 14th St. died
at 7am today at his home after a two year illness. He was an employee of the
Wisconsin Butter Tub Co. from 1923, where he came to Marshfield until his
retirement a year ago.
Funeral services will be at 9:00 am Friday at
Sacred Heart Catholic church. The Rev. L.H. Timmerman will officiate and burial
will follow in the Medford cemetery.
Friends may call at the Rembs
Funeral Home Wednesday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm when the body will be taken to
the home. Prayers will be said at the residence at 3:00 pm Thursday by the
Christian Mothers Society and at 8:00 pm, a general and Holy Name Rosary will be
recited.
Mr. Tepolt was born Nov. 27, 1884, in Stetsonville, where he
farmed until moving to Marshfield. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and
the Equitable Reserve Association.
He is survived by his wife, the former
Alma Nichols, whom he married Nov. 9, 1910, at Stetsonville; and four children,
Mrs. Donovan (Lucile) Zierke, Gladstone, Mich.; Lyman, Rio Linda, Calif,;
Kenneth, Appleton; and Mrs. Edward (Bernice) Rappe, Marshfield.
Other
survivors are one sister, Mrs. Peter Leonard, Marshfield; three brothers,
Florian, Arizona; Joseph and John, both of Oregon; 12 grandchildren and one
great-grandchild. One daughter, three sisters and one brother preceded him in
death.
