William Otto Wolf (9 Feb 1902 - 18 Feb 1974)

DORCHESTER - William Otto Wolf, of route 1, Dorchester, died Monday at Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn., where he had been a patient for the past two weeks. He was 72 years of age.

Services have been set for 1:30 p.m. Thursday (21 Feb 1974) at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home in Dorchester. Officiating will be A. Newell, a Bible student, and burial will be made in the Dorchester Memorial cemetery.

The body will lie in state beginning 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Wolf, William O. (9 Feb 1902 - 16 Feb 1974)

Funeral services were held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Kraut Maurina Funeral Home in Dorchester for William O. Wolf, 72, town of Mayville native. A. Newell, Bible student, officiated and burial was in Dorchester Memorial (South) Cemetery. Pallbearers were Arnold Ruprich, Marvin Tauchen, Melvin Blasel, Robert Korth, Harry Schwartz and Walter Boxrucker.


Mr. Wolf died at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, on February 18, 1974, where he had been a patient about two weeks. He had been in ill health several months. He was born February 9, 1902 in the town of Mayville, and lived there all his life. On June 24, 1930 he was married to Hilda Korth at Dorchester, and they continued to farm in Mayville.


He is survived by his widow; three sons, Donald and Jerroll, both of Dorchester, and Raymond, Sun Prairie; one daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Judeen) Zillmer, Black River Falls; eight grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Schwartz, Abbotsford, and Mrs. Ella Boxrucker, Owen.


He was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
