Unity Bank Robber Promptly
Sentenced
Unity, Wis., Oct. 26 - But a few hours after William Schmidt,
30, robbed the United State Bank, Unity, Wis., of about $50 yesterday at the
point of a gun and was apprehended by students when he attempted to hide in a
high school building, he entered a plea of guilty to armed robbery and was
sentenced today by Circuit Judge A. H. Reid from 15 to 18 years in the prison at
Waupun.
