Schlinsog, Bertha (25 May 1873 - 20 December 1968)

Funeral services were held Sunday from the Christ Lutheran Church in Chili for Mrs. Bertha Schlinsog, 95, who died Friday at her home in Chili. The Rev. Roland Roehrs of Granton officiated. Burial was made in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Granton.

Mrs. Schlinsog, the former Bertha Sanger, was born May 25, 1873, in Calumet County. On September 14, 1898, she was married in Granton, to Carl Schlinsog, who died in 1939. Mr. and Mrs. Schlinsog had been engaged in farming in the Town of Lynn. For the last 29 years she had resided in Chili.

Mrs. Schlinsog is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ruth E. Lindow of Milwaukee, Mrs. Arthur (Anita) Hillert of Chili and Mrs. Raymond (Vera) Jones of Dallas, Texas; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Emma Eide, of Curtiss.

She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Chili.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Gilbertson Funeral home in Granton.
