Mr. and Mrs. Gibson Gile drove to LaSalle, Ill., over the
weekend, where they were met by Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Stuve and family of Arnold,
Mo. The Giles and Stuves spent an enjoyable early Christmas together.
Mrs. Claire Van Sickle, Sr., is in Cedarburg, where she will spend the holidays
with her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Van Sickle.
Mr. and Mrs.
Robert Skar of Fort Benning, Ga., are spending the holidays with their parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth Skar of Merrillan, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Laufenberg of
Alma Center.
Dorothy Rosier of Milwaukee is spending the week of
Christmas with her mother, Mrs George Hoffman.
Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Olver
and family of Cedar Rapids, Ia., spent several days with his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Virgil Olver, last week. They were called here by the death of her mother,
Mrs. C. A. Mallory, whose funeral was held in Black River Falls December 16.
Mrs. Mallory was a former Merrillan resident.
